Tourisme Québec
The QCRHA and Tourisme Québec have been working together to establish a system to rate accommodation establishments (an act that came into effect on December 1, 2001, stipulated that all accommodation establishments in Quebec must have an official Tourisme Québec rating) and implement the Quality Program.

La Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec
An QCRHA member sits on the Régie des Alcools et Jeux du Québec Consultation Committee. This Committee recommends changes to the rules on serving alcohol in our accommodation establishments' bars, restaurants and banquet halls.


Municipal Government

As the QCRHA sits on the board of the Quebec City Tourism and Convention Bureau, one member of the QCRHA board of directors sits on Quebec City's Transportation Committee. The objectives of this Committee are to establish rules governing vehicle traffic, including motor coaches, in Old Quebec.

The QCRHA is often asked to participate in consultations or ad hoc committees pertaining to tourist projects or rules governing the accommodation industry in particular and/or tourism in general.
