Activities

Every year, the QCRHA organizes five (5) dinner-conferences featuring guest speakers of note who discuss current tourism related topics as well as Christmas party and an annual general assembly followed by a reception and dinner.

Special meetings may be called under extraordinary circumstances, such as changes to the rules or charter.

The QCRHA provides funding to the Quebec Winter Carnival and New France Festival. It also gives bursaries to Collège Mérici and Cégep Limoilou students and the maison Dauphine.

QCRHA members bring their knowledge and experience to the following boards of directors:

• Quebec City Tourism and Convention Bureau (2 seats)
• Comité de suivi de la loi 76 (5 seats)
• Quebec Winter Carnival (2 seats)
• Corporation de l'Industrie Touristique du Québec, Quality and Hotel Rating Programs (1 seat)
• Association des Hôteliers du Québec (1 seat)
